Romlove now has a home on your Android home screen. Instead of opening a browser tab every time you want to check a match, you can launch Romlove like any other app — full-screen, fast, and built specifically for phones.
If you've been using Romlove on mobile web, the app will feel instantly familiar: same account, same matches, same conversations. What changes is how quickly — and how naturally — you get to them.
Why we built a native app
The Romlove website already works well on mobile, and it isn't going anywhere — it's still the fastest way to try Romlove with zero commitment. But a browser tab has real limits: it competes for space with dozens of other tabs, notifications aren't always reliable, and re-opening the site means finding it again every time.
A dedicated app removes all of that friction. One icon on your home screen, one tap to open, and everything loads faster because the app isn't re-downloading the interface on every visit — only your data. It's the same Romlove, built to feel like it belongs on your phone.
What's inside the app
Every core part of Romlove is in the app, working exactly the way it does on the website — same account, same history, nothing to set up twice:
- Discover. Browse and filter profiles by country, language, age and more, the same discovery flow you already know from the site.
- Matches & Chat. See your matches, keep conversations going, and pick up right where you left off on the web — messages sync across both.
- Quests, XP, Rewards & Leaderboard. Romlove's daily-progress loop is fully built into the app, so your streaks and rewards travel with you.
- Wallet & Membership. Check your balance and manage your plan without switching to a browser.
- Notifications that actually reach you. New messages and matches show up as real push notifications, not something you only discover the next time you happen to open a tab.
Built around real profiles, not empty promises
Romlove doesn't promise guaranteed matches or guaranteed relationships — no dating platform honestly can. What the app does give you is faster, more reliable access to the same profile-first, safety-conscious experience Romlove has always been built around: verified and trusted profile signals, straightforward reporting tools, and a network that spans 190+ countries so distance is never the reason a connection doesn't happen.
How to install it
Installation takes under a minute and doesn't require a store account:
- Open romlove.com/apps on your Android phone.
- Tap Download APK and wait for the download to finish.
- Open the downloaded file from your browser or Downloads folder.
- If Android asks for permission to install from this source, allow it — that's a standard one-time step for any app installed outside a store, not a warning specific to Romlove.
- Confirm the install, open Romlove, and sign in with your existing account.
The APK is signed by Romlove, so future versions can be installed directly from the update notification inside the app — no need to repeat these steps every time.
Already have an account?
Nothing changes. Sign in with the same email or username you use on the website, and your profile, matches, and conversations are exactly where you left them. There's nothing to migrate and nothing to set up twice.
What about iPhone?
iOS doesn't allow installing Android APK files, but Romlove works as a Progressive Web App on iPhone and iPad: open Romlove in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You'll get a dedicated icon and the same full-screen, app-like experience.
What's next
This is an early release, and we're actively improving it based on real usage — expect regular updates as we round out the experience. We're also working towards listing Romlove on Google Play; until then, the fastest way to get the latest version will always be romlove.com/apps.
